  • Counter Sales

    Job Description:
    We are currently looking for motivated, experienced, and entry-level COUNTER SALES people for inside/counter sales of electric motors, controls, and related equipment. A commitment to quality and outstanding customer service is a must; previous technical/auto parts sales is a plus. Exc. starting salary and benefit package.

    Some duties and responsibilities include:

    • Stocking shelves, counters, or displays with merchandise.

    • Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise to promote sales.

    • Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.

    • Obtains merchandise requested by customer or special orders merchandise selected by customer.

    • Answers customer inquiries concerning location, price, and use of merchandise; provides minor repair on motors as needed by customer.

    • Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased or repaired by customer to determine bill.

    • Accepts payment and makes change.

    • Cleans location, shelves, counters, or tables.

    • Removes and records amount of cash in register at the end of shift.

    • Calculates sales discount to determine price.

    • Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory of stock, and orders merchandise.

    • Performs other duties as requested.


  • Mechanics - Variable Speed

    Job Description:

    Mechanic in Dreisilker's Variable Speed Department. We are seeking individuals with one to three months related experience and/or training repairing motors, pumps, gear boxes, generators, and related mechanical devices and equipment. Must also occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

    Some duties and responsibilities include:

    • Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sound to locate causes of trouble.

    • Dismantles and removes armature, stator, or rotor from housing to gain access to and remove defective parts.

    • Examines coil connections to detect imperfections.

    • Tests coils, armatures, stators, rotors, and field coils for continuity, shorts, and grounds and insulation resistance.

    • Examines bearings, shafts, and other moving parts for excessive wear or defects.

    • Cleans, polishes, and refaces parts, commutators, and machine parts to specified tolerances.

    • Assembles and tests motors for specified performance.

    • Performs alignment of parts, shafts, gears, and other items.

    • Performs service calls when requested.

    • Performs other duties as requested.
